#67. Playing the Melody
Yikes, I haven't submitted anything on here since February... oh well. I've done a few things messing around with Photoshop but they aren't anything special, nor do they fit any of my themes. For some reason I woke up yesterday morning and had the urge to draw something. Sadly, I had to rummage through boxes to find my sketch book. We moved in April but we still have a room full of unopened moving boxes.
I actually found a charcoal drawing of the bird on pinterest. I thought I would try my own version. You would think I would be listening to some classical tune while I worked on this, but no. Strangely, I have Pink Floyd’s “Hey You” stuck in my head.

#19. Gray
Thank god for federal holidays! I told myself earlier this week that I would use my day off to do some cleaning and maybe some shopping... Yeah, that didn't happen. Instead a sat on my laptop playing with photoshop. There's just something about clocks, gears, and numbers that I find interesting. I actually took this design from a pencil drawing I did several years ago.

#96. In the Storm
Another season of Face Off just started and I'm pretty excited about it. I love that show! If you've never watched it, it's an elimination competition for movie makeup artists. Some of the stuff they come up with is really amazing. The challenge last night involved recreating the cantina seen from the original star wars movie. Just for fun I added some pictures below.
Last
season they had a challenge to create a creature that would be found in a Tim
Burton movie. So, anyway after watching the show the other night I wanted to
see if I could create my own sci-fi creature. The
