The challenge contains a list of 100 different themes which are located on the tool bar to the right. Over time I’ll create a piece of art based
on each theme and blog about it. The goal is to keep me motivated about expanding as artist and to have fun doing it!

#10 Trilogy

Original Pencil Drawing

Photoshop Design

Actual Wall Clock

This is the progression of my latest clock design. It started with a light sketch. I then uploaded the sketch onto my computer and used photoshop to add color and extra designs. For the actual wall clock I decided to go with more blues than teals. I used the extra scraps to create the reverse chevron and numbers.

Stamp #5

This drawing doesn't really fit in with any of my themes but I wanted to share it anyway just because I like it so much. Eventually I would like to redo it in color.

#12 No Time x2

I know I've already done a piece under this theme but I really like this one and it feels like it fits #12 the most. This is my first attempt to turn one of my clock drawings into an actual fuctioning clock. I now have so many ideas for my next one!

#67. Playing the Melody

Yikes, I haven't submitted anything on here since February... oh well. I've done a few things messing around with Photoshop but they aren't anything special, nor do they fit any of my themes. For some reason I woke up yesterday morning and had the urge to draw something. Sadly, I had to rummage through boxes to find my sketch book. We moved in April but we still have a room full of unopened moving boxes.

I actually found a charcoal drawing of the bird on pinterest. I thought I would try my own version. You would think I would be listening to some classical tune while I worked on this, but no. Strangely, I have Pink Floyd’s “Hey You” stuck in my head.

#19. Gray

Thank god for federal holidays! I told myself earlier this week that I would use my day off to do some cleaning and maybe some shopping... Yeah, that didn't happen. Instead a sat on my laptop playing with photoshop. There's just something about clocks, gears, and numbers that I find interesting. I actually took this design from a pencil drawing I did several years ago.
